Last month brand new prequel Orphan: first murder hit theaters and stream on Paramount+ the same day, the film has so far scarred $11.6 million worldwide at the limited release box office. Countless other horror fans enjoyed the movie at home and the star Isabelle Fuhrman wants to watch it with you this weekend!
Fuhrman, who takes over the role of Esther thanks to clever production tricks in Orphan: first murderwill be live-tweeted with the film Saturday, September 10 at 10 p.m. EST.
William Brent Bell (The boy, separation) sat in the director’s chair for First murdera prequel film that fully solidifies Esther’s status – along with Fuhrman’s – as a horror icon.
I tweeted last month“First murder plays like a Child’s play sequel with Esther as Chucky. It’s a 90-minute magic trick, de-aging Isabelle Fuhrman with charming old-school techniques. A Orphan rehash until it’s not, with clever twists and a sense of humor about himself.
“Esther’s terrifying saga continues in this thrilling prequel to the original and shocking horror hit, Orphan. After orchestrating a brilliant escape from an Estonian mental institution, Esther travels to America posing as the missing daughter of a wealthy family.
“Yet an unexpected twist comes that pits him against a mother who will protect her family from the murderous ‘child’ at all costs.”
Rossif Sutherland and Julia Stiles featured alongside Isabelle Fuhrman.
David Coggeshall (“Scream: The TV Series”) wrote the screenplay.
Orphan: first murder is rated “R” for bloody violence, language, and brief sexual content, so you can expect to see Esther knocking some heads in there. The film’s official runtime is listed at 99 minutes.
Who wants to spend this Saturday night with Esther & me? I will live tweet with #OrphanFirstKill this Saturday at 10 p.m. ET. Stream the movie on @paramountplusand follow him on Twitter with the hashtag #OrphanLiveTweet. pic.twitter.com/B1XY9Wv2Rn
